MAINTENANCE

From the 1st May we now have a Maintenance Technician, JIM HAMPSON, employed on Bay Pointe Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 0900 thru 1400.

In the next few weeks we should see improvements in several areas as we work on the back log caused by the cancellation of the Clean Freaks contract at the end of 2011.

Maintenance requests are to be submitted via our Community Manager at Argus who will be responsible for scheduling the maintenance workload.

We continue to seek all our Residents help in keeping your Community in good order

Derek Foxwell, Board Treasurer, resigned from the Board with effect 30th April 2012. Derek joined the Board at the begining of 2011 at which time the Association was on the verge of being bankrupt due to mis-management by the previous, 2010, Board. During his 16 months as Treasurer Derek has brought the Associations finances back on track with necessary controls on spending and the setting of the 2012 budget at a level that is sustainable.

Our thanks go out to Derek who can now get back to enoying his retirement with his wife Ann.

NEW COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT COMPANY

Argus Property Management Inc. have replaced Sentry as our Community Management company.

Argus was chosen after a lengthy application process, identifying numerous possible companies, reviewing proposals, and interviewing several of those which applied.

Argus appear to have all the abilities that we need, and an attitude far different from that of our previous company.

All owners will have/should have received an information letter from Argus, giving you all the information you will need for reaching them with any issues you may have in the future.
